General objective: Придобиване на по-добро измерване на дигиталните умения в сектора на търговията на дребно, за да оценка на дигиталните умения

-  Reducing the gap between the available and required skills for the digital transformation of the retail sector economy

- Creation of a training model and content for the target groups addressing the topic of digital technologies

- Enhancing the impact of training in the retail sector by promoting distance learning, which has become an everyday reality in the COVID situation

- Upskilling and reskilling those who dependent on the retail sector by closing the digital skills 'gap'.

Target groups:

  • (1) the self-employed and small and micro retailers looking to move their business online
  • (2) the VET Center and other stakeholders who would like to conduct training related to readiness for digitalization of the retail sector
  • (3) the companies in the retail trade sector and members of their staff
  • (4) retail sector HR managers
  • (5) students
  • (6) unemployed who have previous employment in the retail sector

Main project’s results:

1. In-depth assessment to identify the problems of the target group

2. A training program covering all basic and general aspects of digital tools specific to the retail sector, as well as tools for the recognition and transparency of outcomes achieved from the training

3. Guidelines for trainers to apply the acquired skills and use of products, towards more sustainable economic growth in the retail sector

4. Quality digital learning content using SCORM-developed infographics, presentations and animated videos uploaded to the Moodle Learning Management System, where a username and password can also be accessed on demand and also at any time so that trainees to have the opportunity to progress in coursework as required and to track their progress.
