General Objective:

DIGITAL4ME addresses digital knowledge skills and awareness of digital technologies implementing an approach for micro entrepreneurs to apply innovative creative methods by building, promoting, validating & updating skills to real needs in the competitive business world, in line with the EU polices taking action to tackle the lack of digital skills in Europe.

Specific Objectives:

  • Rise awareness how digital knowledge & technology awareness can increase the speed of response to changes in demand in the market, generate competitive advantage for microentrepreneurs & implement a culture of innovation.
  • Bring permanent change in business culture and inspire ME decision-makers to further understanding how digital knowledge can help their investment grow efficiently, implement greater business agility and create new value for themselves, employees, customers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project with significant stakeholders and policy makers to sensitize them to the importance of digital knowledge in business.
  • Fine-tune ME digital management skills and transfer learning derived from their project participation into business. MEs following the programme will improve the effectiveness of their digital investments leading to improved productivity and/or performance.
  • Optimize personal skills (self-confidence, determination) in ME business plans

  3. Associations of SMEs, Chamber of commerce Cooperatives
  4. VET centres
  5. Business Incubators, Business development agencies & Technology Transfer Centres
  6. Local, Regional and national Entities

Main results:

  • Situation-based assessment report, specifically tackling the skill gaps related to MEs digital readiness and awareness of emerging technologies development and related strategy vis a vis their enterprise. Research in all partner countries to further build on available data and research.
  • The creation of the training model builds on the five criteria’s
  • Development, piloting, publishing and promotion of open access, digital learning resource for MEs to engage in technological innovation.
  • Dissemination & Exploitation outreach events, online & on-site raising awareness achieved by joint efforts of partners associates & stakeholders.
