Main objective:

  • Increasing the opportunities for quality participation of young people in the elaboration, development, implementation and application of youth policies in Vratsa District, through activities for civil monitoring of youth policies through studies, analysis and evaluation of the impact and making proposals for the reformation of youth policies in Byala Slatina municipality as well as to improve the environment for youth participation in governance in Vratsa District;
  • Building a democratic culture and basic civic competences among young people in Vratsa District;
  • Shortening the distance between the youth sector and the state and municipal administrations in Vratsa District.

Specific objectives:

  • Ensuring easy access to up-to-date information regarding the conditions allowing young people to realize their potential in Vratsa district and Byala Slatina municipality;
  • Strengthening the partnership for youth participation with the regional and municipal administrations in the Vratsa region in the decision-making processes on issues affecting young people and generating ideas, as part of the youth policy planning process in the Vratsa region and in the municipality of Byala Slatina through joint actions (partnerships) between state administrations/municipalities and NGOs;
  • Ensuring an equal chance for the development of young people in the Vratsa region through informational activities with the aim of raising awareness and increasing their participation in the processes of implementation and monitoring of youth policies;

Main target groups:

  1. District Administration Vratsa;
  2. Municipality of Byala Slatina;
  3. Youth NGOs and young people from Vratsa district aged between 15 and 29 years.

Project acitivities:

  1. Conducting of two questionnaires
  2. Creation of a "Manual for the policies of young people in Vratsa District"
  3. Organization and conduct of "Strategic Cafe"
  4. Organization and holding of an Information Seminar "Equal chance for development, participation and expression of young people in Vratsa District"
  5. Organization and holding of a round table "Engagement, participation and equal opportunities for young people in the municipality of Byala Slatina”
