Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa took part in the 15th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), held in Sofia on 3–4 November 2026. The event brought together representatives of European institutions, national and regional authorities, businesses and organisations from across the Danube Region to discuss opportunities for strengthening regional cooperation and sustainable development.
CCI Vratsa was represented at the Forum by Ms Maya Milova, Executive Director, and Ms Svetlana Borisova, International Cooperation Expert.
As part of the programme, the CCI Vratsa representatives attended the Danube Transfer Centre Network Ceremony. The event focused on the further development of the network and on opportunities to promote the transfer of knowledge, technologies and innovation, as well as cooperation between academia and businesses across the Danube Region.
The CCI Vratsa representatives also attended the official opening of the 15th Annual Forum, which brought together high-level representatives of European institutions, the Bulgarian Government and regional authorities. The opening sessions highlighted the importance of the Danube Region for European cooperation, economic development and stronger cohesion between countries.
CCI Vratsa’s participation in the Forum forms part of the organisation’s continued efforts to expand international partnerships, promote innovation and create new opportunities for regional businesses. The Forum provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and good practices, as well as to strengthen cooperation with organisations and institutions from across the Danube Region.
