From January 27 to March 1, you can only travel to or from Belgium for essential reasons. What is an essential reason?
- Compelling family reasons, e.g. visiting a child or partner, attending a wedding or a funeral of close family
- Humanitarian reasons, eg for medical reasons, to help an elderly person
- Study purposes
- Residents of border areas
- Professional reasons
- Miscellaneous, eg to take care of an animal, move
You need a declaration of honor to prove this. You're not living in Belgium and visiting Belgium? Then you'll have to do a corona test 72 hours before your departure to Belgium. Are you departing from Belgium and need a PCR test for the country of destination? To avoid having to queue, please register in advance.
