On 27.06.2024, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa held the dissemination event and regional stakeholder’s group meeting under the project "ACTIVE ID - Activating Citizens Towards healthy lifestyles in Vital EU-regions with Innovative Data-driven solutions”. The project is implemented under the Interreg Europe Program, funded by the European Union. The project is implemented under Interreg Europe Programme, financed by the European Union.
The project’s partners are: University of Applied Sciences and Regional Council of Paijat-Hame (Finland); University of Castilla la Mancha (Spain); Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa (Bulgaria), Province of North Brabant and the Sports and Technology Foundation (Netherlands), as well as Region Dalarna (Sweden). The duration of the project is 51 months.
During the meeting CCI-Vratsa presented:
- project’s objectives, activities and expected results;
- first study visit held in Lahti, Finland;
- relevant policy instrument.
The discussion amongst the stakeholders outlined the status quo of the sport and leisure industry in the region, showing its strengths and weaknesses, as well as the challenges and opportunities for its future development.
