In the period 12-13 November 2024, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa held a partner steering meeting and seminar, under the project "MedDiet Go!" (Med Diet identities - from territorial networking to cluster organization). The project is implemented under the "Interreg Euro-MED" Program, funded by the European Union.
The events were attended by partners from Spain (Seville Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation), Slovenia (Institute for Comprehensive Development Solutions), Italy (Puglia Region), Greece (ELORIS) and Portugal (Alentejo Regional Development Agency).
During the steering meeting, the partners discussed achieved results, upcoming activities and expected results of the project.
On 13 November 2024, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa held a Seminar on "Promoting rural tourism through sustainable food production", during the International Exhibition INTERFOOD & DRINK, at Inter Expo Center - Sofia. The participants received information about the project and were introduced to good practices from Bulgaria in the field of rural and cultural tourism. During the seminar, the first Living Lab of the project was held, during which the development of tools for strengthening cooperation between tourism-related stakeholders, as well as measures for improving local strategies for sustainable tourism, were discussed.
