The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa took an active part in international exhibitions VINARIA 2025 and FOODTECH 2025 at the Plovdiv Fair with the project "GELATOn the Road". The project, funded by the Creative Europe 2021-2027 programme, aims to promote innovation in gelato production by introducing new technologies and products to the Bulgarian market.

On February 18, 2025, the second part of the Gelato POP-UP Museum in Bulgaria took place – a specially organized gourmet show prepared by chefs from the "Valere" restaurant in Plovdiv. During the culinary demonstration, experts revealed the secrets of making the perfect gelato, sharing professional techniques and approaches that gave the audience a unique opportunity to experience the art of combining traditional and savory flavors.

On February 19, Bulgaria hosted the first "Sustainable Scoops" gelato competition, where participants had to create new, unique flavors using local ingredients. The event highlighted the importance of environmental awareness in the culinary industry and encouraged the application of sustainable practices. The winner was the "GELATO MIO" gelateria, which will represent Bulgaria in the final round of the competition in Longarone Fiere, Italy.

Participation in these initiatives underscores CCI-Vratsa's commitment to support local businesses, promote inter-sectoral cooperation, and promote sustainable practices in the food industry.

For the successful presentation of the "GELATOn the Road" project at the "FOODTECH 2025" exhibition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa received an award for high professionalism from International Fair - Plovdiv.
