From March 31st to April 2nd, 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa participated in the fourth partnership meeting of the "GELATOn the ROAD" project, co-financed by the European Commission under the "Creative Europe" program (CREA-CULT-2022-COOP-03.EU).
The meeting took place in the picturesque city of Reus, Spain, and brought together representatives of partner organizations from across Europe, who have been working together on the project for the past two years. The initiative aims to promote traditional Italian gelato as a cultural product with the potential for international success, encouraging sustainability, innovation, and creativity in the sector.
During the three-day program, participants discussed the results achieved so far, outlined the next steps, and exchanged good practices on the path to wider European visibility for gelato. Particular emphasis was placed on sustainable production, opportunities for cultural entrepreneurship, and the importance of partnerships in entering new markets.
The event was not without emotions and inspiration – gelato tastings from different regions were organized, which not only tempted the senses but also illustrated the cultural richness and diversity behind every flavor.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa proudly marked the two-year anniversary of the project's launch, affirming its role as an active partner and ambassador of innovation in cultural and culinary exchange.
