The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa organised a seminar on "Digital Tourism: When Traditions Meet Technology" within the framework of the MedDiet Go project, which is part of the INTERREG Euro-MED Programme. The seminar was held on 25th June 2025 and is one of the project's “Co-creation Living Labs”, aimed at bridging traditional knowledge and innovation.

The event brought together representatives from the tourism sector, SMEs, organizations, youth, and experts working in the fields of cultural and digital tourism. The program focused on applying innovative methodologies and digital solutions to develop sustainable tourism products and routes that combine traditional Mediterranean identity with modern technologies.

During the seminar, key activities and objectives of the MedDiet Go project were presented, along with good practices from the previous MD.net project, which featured over 60 innovation initiatives led by SMEs. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences through group work and discussions on building attractive thematic routes, and to take part in an interactive session titled “Idea Hub: Local Innovations in Digital Tourism.”

The seminar concluded with a panel discussion on visions, partnerships, and challenges for the future of digital tourism in the region.
