The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa is celebrating 34 years since its establishment in 1991 as an independent regional organization working for the benefit of businesses in the Vratsa region and northwestern Bulgaria. For more than three decades, the Chamber has established itself as a key partner for businesses, institutions, and local communities.
34 years of experience in numbers:
- Over 25,000 consultations conducted,
- Over 750,000 inquiries opened,
- Over 260 missions organized,
- Over 1,600 events organized, attended by over 70,000 participants,
- Over 130 European projects implemented,
- Participation in more than 40 councils and monitoring committees,
- Over 25 memberships in associations and networks,
- Over 35 national and international awards received.
Since 1999, the CCI Vratsa has been a Euro Info Centre (EIC BG808) Vratsa, and from 2008 to 2021 it has been an Enterprise Europe Network Centre (EEN Vratsa).
Since 2009, the CCI Vratsa has been the host structure of the Europe Direct Vratsa center, part of the network of 423 Europe Direct centers in Europe.
Since 2002, the CCI Vratsa has been home to the National Center for Vocational Training (NCVT Vratsa branch).
The Chamber provides a wide range of services aimed at the development and competitiveness of small, medium, and large enterprises. These include consulting for companies, preparation of business documents, economic analyses, training and qualification programs, assistance in project development and management, support in the field of international cooperation, translations and legalizations, GS1 services, and comprehensive administrative assistance for businesses.
In 2024, the European Digital Innovation Hub - Northwest Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (EDIH-NWACB) opened its doors, with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa being one of the partners working to support the digitization of the automotive industry in Bulgaria and at European level by providing services and training to support business.
The Chamber actively implements national and European projects in the field of entrepreneurship, digitalisation, innovation, circular economy and vocational training. Through the results of these projects, companies from all over the country gain access to new knowledge, technologies, partnerships and opportunities for growth.
The Chamber is an active member of the Unified System of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as of branch organizations and international chambers of commerce that support the representation of business and the defense of its interests.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa partners with a number of institutions at regional, national, and international level, including municipalities, state agencies, educational organizations, and European structures such as the Federation of Danube Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DCCF) and the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry – EUROCHAMBRES.
For 34 years, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa has been and remains a reliable partner for companies in the region, providing expert support, up-to-date information, and access to networks and initiatives that contribute to the development of the local economy and the strengthening of the business environment.
