On 15–16 September 2026, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa took part in the third transnational partner meeting of the RESPONSE project – “Reporting on ESG and Sustainability Performance Oriented to the Needs of Small Enterprises”, funded under the Erasmus+ Programme.
The meeting took place in Dublin, Ireland, and was hosted by Dublin Chamber of Commerce, one of the project partners. Representatives of all consortium partners participated in the meeting and discussed the progress of activities under each work package, the results achieved so far, and the key next steps.
As the project coordinator, the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa, Ms Gergana Konova, Programmes and Projects Expert, presented the overall progress of the project, the indicators achieved to date, as well as consortium-level reporting. The meeting also laid the groundwork for Work Package 4, focusing on the testing of the ESG+ Toolbox and the training modules.
The partners also discussed the developed set of tools and ways in which it could be further improved to make it more accessible and relevant to SMEs. The foundations were also laid for the development of the three training modules, which will serve as an introduction for SMEs to sustainability reporting, double materiality, and the use of the ESG+ Toolbox. Communication and dissemination activities implemented within the project to date were also reviewed and discussed.
As part of the partner meeting, a communication event was also organised to introduce Irish small and medium-sized enterprises to the objectives of the project and the ways in which it could support them in reporting on ESG practices and sustainability. Representing the project coordinator, Gergana Konova delivered a presentation aimed at introducing participants to the theoretical and regulatory framework of sustainability reporting, as well as presenting the three tools included in the ESG+ Toolbox. Three external experts were also invited to contribute to the programme and share their expertise in the fields of sustainability reporting and double materiality.
The consortium brings together five partners from four European Union Member States, possessing the necessary expertise for the successful implementation of the project. The project aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in improving their ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting practices by providing targeted support and training for entrepreneurs, managers, and employees.
The participation of CCI Vratsa contributed to an active exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of sustainability and good practices in ESG reporting.
