On March 13-14, 2025, Ms. Maya Milova, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa, and a delegation of stakeholders from the Vratsa Region participated in a Partnership Meeting and Study Visit for the exchange of good practices in Alandroal, Portugal, under the project "MedDiet Go!" (Med Diet identities - from territorial networking to cluster organization). The project is implemented under the "Interreg Euro-MED" Program, funded by the European Union.
On Day 1, the partners discussed the achieved results, upcoming activities, and expected outcomes of the project. After the meeting, participants visited the "Terramay" farm, which is an example of successful implementation of sustainable agricultural practices, regenerative agriculture, and the production of high value-added organic products in gastronomy.
On Day 2, all participants engaged in a discussion on "Involving local communities in creating management and cooperation models between public authorities and stakeholders." As part of the visit, partners and stakeholder representatives had the opportunity to attend the "River Fish Festival" in Alandroal, which is a key event for the region, promoting sustainable tourism and cultural heritage.
