Are you the owner of an SME with up to 250 staff? Are you interested in investing in the ecological transformation of your business? The European programme STAGE is just what you need!
SMEs could receive up to 25 000 euro in grants through the Sustainable Transition to the Agile and Green Enterprise (STAGE) programme for the use of expert and consultancy support to prepare a project plan for future investment in sustainable models and practices. The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRTC) is the main communication partner in the international consortium of 14 countries under the STAGE program and can assist with the necessary support when applying.
Who can take advantage of this opportunity and how?
Bulgarian and Romanian small and medium-sized enterprises, which are ready to invest in the ecological transformation of their business, can apply for a grant of 25,000 euros. The funding will help them attract private investment to bring their projects to fruition.
With the allocated funds, they can pay for the services of a STAGE-approved sustainability and/or financing consultant to develop an investment plan for innovation and introduction of green technologies in the business, do a feasibility study, technology audit, due diligence, adaptation of new business models, etc.
Important: In order to receive funding, companies must be registered on the STAGE platform and have completed the first stage of the Initial Assessment - a tool that analyzes the organization's activity in environmental, social and governance aspects, as well as in terms of economic indicators and innovation .
Applications are submitted electronically, in English, by completing an application form and sending it through the project's online platform.
There will be several interim deadlines, with the first being 30 September 2024.
